The event is part of the desire to make the 7th art accessible to all. The festival is free, with a simple membership to L'équipée (€4 per person or €10 per family), which also provides access to other cultural activities throughout the year.

Some new features for this 2025 edition: the festival poster was entrusted to Osman Cerfon, director and illustrator. The festival wanted to opt for a creation inspired by the iconic venue La Cartoucherie. The festival is also committed to a low-carbon approach to reduce its environmental impact, and is working with La Cartouch'Verte and the Ardèche-Drôme Waste Treatment Union (SYTRAD).
